Service-based business? No downtown storefront? No problem!
The Business Showcase transforms the Old Fire Hall into a pop-up marketplace, giving local businesses without a downtown storefront the opportunity to showcase their products and services, meet new customers, and connect with the community.
A great opportunity to get your business in front of downtown shoppers in a fun, welcoming setting. Register to participate and complete the Showcase application form!
Thursday, October 22 - Saturday, October 24
Local Eats puts the spotlight on Whitehorse’s food and beverage businesses and gives Yukoners another great reason to dine local.
Simply register to participate; then diners at participating restaurants can enter to win a $50 gift card to your business, purchased by the Chamber! Want to add a special menu item, offer, or promotion? Go for it—but it’s completely optional.

One of Yukoner Appreciation Week's most-loved events! Sip ‘n Shop invites Yukoners to make their way around participating businesses for an evening of shopping, sipping, snacking, and discovering local.
Register to participate; then simply offer a little something to sip or snack on—coffee, tea, sparkling water, wine, treats, snacks, or whatever works for your space. Everyone stopping by your location can enter to win a $50 gift card to your business, purchased by the Chamber! Add a special offer or promotion to enhance consumer experience if you’d like, but it’s completely optional.

The QR Code Digital Passport Contest! Being a sponsor or registering in Yukoner Appreciation Week automatically gets you a business profile in the Buy Local YT App. Using your profile in the App, Yukoners will know which businesses are participating in the Digital Passport Contest. Contestants will find you and scan your unique QR code supplied by the Chamber. For each unique scan, contestants receive ONE contest entry, encouraging Yukoners to explore the local business community and collect as many contest entries as possible.
BONUS ENTRIES:
For each scan at participating businesses off main street, Yukoners receive TWO contest entries!
BONUS FOR BUSINESSES: After the event, each business participating in the QR Code Digital Passport Contest will receive a list of email contacts from those who visited their store - providing a great lead generation tool!
Saturday, October 24 |5:00PM
The Community Concert brings Yukoners together for a free evening of live music—and brings plenty of extra energy to our downtown core.
For local businesses, it’s a great opportunity to welcome concert-goers before and after the show. Consider adding a little something special for the evening, whether it’s a pre-concert offer, grab-and-go bites, extended hours, or a post-concert drink or snack special.
Make the most of the extra foot traffic and give concert-goers a reason to make a night of it downtown.
